Job Description
A suitable candidate will be a strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines. The candidate should be self-directed and have deep experience and knowledge of Cloud Tools and Technologies, software design, coding, and testing methodologies. Should be able to work individually and as a team member. Must have the capability to provide technical direction and mentoring to team members. The candidate should be a BS or MS from a reputed college with 8+ years of strong and relevant core software development experience in Software/health care industry. Expected work may be non-routine, complex and involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
The Oracle Health Sciences Global Business Unit’s Argus Safety product is a comprehensive platform designed to enable pharmaceutical companies to track, manage, and report safety information related to their prescription and non-prescription drugs in the marketplace. It also facilitates the reporting of any safety or adverse events (rash, death, hospitalization etc) to the FDA to ensure the drug is not a risk to the public at large.
Argus Safety team is currently hiring. The candidate must have a development background who can work on Performance Certification testing of the product on Oracle Cloud. He must gain in depth knowledge of the product suite along with its deployment strategies. With the knowledge of the application deployment architecture, the candidate should be able to understand the cloud topology. He must be able to understand how to Performance Test the product in an optimal fashion to ensure that the product meets the agreed performance timing. Basic understanding of network topology will help to understand logical deployment and security settings required in the cloud platform.

DevOps Lead/Developer:
Must Have:
Strong knowledge in any one of Performance testing tools – LoadRunner, JMeter or equivalent.
Able to design and prepare test data and debug any issues in existing test scripts.
Sound knowledge in Server monitoring using any monitoring tools – PerfMon or Appdynamics or equivalent.
Good in understanding non-functional/system requirements
Good exposure to large systems with multiple web/transaction servers with bigger sizes
Good analytical, communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
