Job Description
The Database Release Management team is responsible for managing the release of Database Products across various channels. Looking for a Technical Program Manager with prior enterprise QA/Dev ops experience to manage the high-quality requirements for Database Bundles released each quarter. This is a challenging role with lots of responsibilities and visibility across the organization.
Key Attributes for Technical Program Manager Position
Required Skills
BS or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree
4+ years as a release or program manager or QA/DevOps experience
Work with developers and Integrators to resolve any build or release issues
Work with QA to review and triage test failures.
Set up/Create and maintain build and release tools and infrastructure
Automate build and release tasks whenever possible
Create and maintain release plans and schedules
Creating automated reporting capabilities.

Become advocate for change that will help customer experience with the Database Product.
Technical Skills
Ability to review and understand technical bug updates and review log files
Experience using Jira or an equivalent tool
Proficient SQL skills
Skilled at precision questioning.
Strong understanding of Oracle Apex
Experience with build and release engineering tools and processes
Experience with CI/CD methodologies
Experience with DevOps methodologies
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
Responsibilities
Manage the development and implementation process for Database product and work with cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing programs. Manage Build/Release of the Database product, Review code submissions prior to check-in, Plan and direct schedules. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the program on schedule and within time constraints
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Four years of program management, product design or related experience preferred.
