Job Description:
• Direct the end-to-end activities for various product categories of apparel and accessories for all genders and age-groups (Men, Women, Kids, Infants)
• Manage cross-functional operations with internal stakeholders based out of UK, China & India – product development & adoption, cost structures, production viability, order placements, supplier contracts and on-time performance of SEA vendors
• Monitor and evaluate the ethical and technical performance, quality and deliveries of suppliers and manufacturers in Mainland China and Southeast Asian countries.
• Advocate Market Intelligence sharing and new / upcoming trends in the industry to maintain standardization of main & sustainable fabrics.
• Strategize and implement the sustainable product and fabric sourcing
• Align with stakeholders on optimal Capacity Management Processes for capacity planning / usage against Forecasts and Buys
• Identify and prioritize cost savings initiatives, new sourcing opportunities & product migration to offer better product and price, reducing lead time & efficiency for speed to market. Achieved 7% increase in profit margins
• Drive system enhancement needs to support capacity rollup process including alerts for existing and potential capacity issues
• Advocate the concept of strategic supplier relationship management (SRM)
• Manage and maintain strong vendor partnerships, cultivated relationships with new suppliers and made appropriate recommendations for improvement
• Develop fair business behavior with current and future partners keeping in mind social and environmental compliance as a priority
